Nick is definitely one of those people, who when people meet, truly has an impact on their lives. The point he made about spending more time in the learning zone really stuck with me. After feeling a little stale in my current role, I decided to do something about it and have just been promoted to National Sales Manager! I wanted to say a big thank you to Nick for such a positive & enriching conference — he was a breath of fresh air.

I have had the unbelievable luck of having Nick as a Colleague, Mentor and Friend for the last 6 years. His guidance, support and humor has immeasurably helped shaped my career as a Trainer and contributed heavily to the knowledge and skill that I have today.

Although I have also had the benefit of working with many other great trainers, my personality has just clicked with Nick’s and it has given me the ability to trust his ideas, creativity and feedback.

I am not an easy person to train, and do not generally do well in Corporate “training” environments – however our recent 3 day session with Nick was eye opening, enjoyable and most of all – relevant. It is the first Conference I have left armed with new ideas, session plans and renewed energy to tackle my portfolio in a whole new manner.

Nick Mills of Eureka Training facilitated training for Coordinators of the StandBy Response Service located in 16 regions across Australia April this year. Nick’s delivery style which is down to earth and entwined with theory and analogies of how best to apply in practice enables ease of learning. We not only examined how to best integrate learning styles and emotional intelligence when working with our each of our crisis teams, but reflected on our leadership approach and had fun throughout. This session and ongoing learning throughNick’s ‘blog’ is enabling our service to better support those bereaved by suicide across Australia.

Nick had a great personal presence in conveying the course content which made it easy to understand.  Nick has broadened my knowledge in the workplace on how to  deal with a diverse group of colleagues as well as encouraged me to have faith in my decisions.

Nick is the master building of leadership. He brought a wealth of experience to our leader training and captivated us all with facts about the neuroscience behind decision making, initiative, etc which helped us to gain the best understanding on the course content. He is topical, entertaining, thought-provoking and always goes above and beyond. I highly recommend him for any team building/leadership building program facilitation.

Occasionally, you are given a project with some kind of difficulty. Tough deadlines, vague project brief, scarce resources or uncertain access to information. Nick helped me with a project that included all of these and more. It was indeed a monster and he approached it with calm aplomb and dedication that, frankly, I find difficult to find. Thanks, Nick, for a job well-done in difficult circumstances.
